Loose Front End

I have a 91 RS with a 305, when I take turns or even just driving, my front end feels loose. I jacked it up today, and theres play in the tie rod. Or maybe my idler arm?

Re: Loose Front End

my idler arm had a $hit load of play in it, replace that. then do the center link/tierods, if the problem persist, worn a-arm bushings will cause play in the front as well

Re: Loose Front End

I replaced the front steering parts on my 87 IROC with the Spohn front end kit with the ball joints. Replacing everything with new parts made the steering like new again. I recomend the Spohn kit over shopping for parts picee by piece and everything fits as it should with NO problems,
