Running rich and flooding out

So I took out my fuel injectors and noticed microscopic cracks in the o-rings. i'm going to replace those, but was that really causing all my problems? The car runs so rich it floods and dies VERY often, like i cannot even drive it around. And I'm getting about 2 miles to the gallon. With no fuel leaks. Could my injectors be failing? The car did sit for 6 years... and if they are failing do i rebuild them, buy new or what? I'm really lost right now and kind of fed up of this car right now...any help would really be appreciated.

i would probably guess 02 sensor or TPS

or uhmmm something else that reads/deals with throttle position

i dunno

hmm, thats pretty crazy

The TPS is brand new, and works fine. Where is the o2 sensor?

BTW: There's no check engine light on.

my way of fixing things is to fix the easy stuff first-meaning-if you know the o'rings are bad then fix them first. its amazing at how you can fix the little things then the big problems go away.

then check to make sure your timming is right.
it also sounds like it could have a vac leak.
but try the o'rings first then go from thier

Its extremly rare for these injectors to fail. They couldve corroded internally, but the usual mode of failure seems to be the internal O-rings blowing out and causing fuel to spew out the top of the injector.

More then likely its a faulty CTS or MAP sensor. Could be a blocked return causing the pump to dead-head, but the stock pump maxes out at around 12 PSI, so its unlikely. A grounded O2 could do it, but it should set a code after some time if the O2 voltage stops swinging.
