I was gonna do a lsx swap ,but a 350 tbi would be so much cheaper and easier, so let me know what yall think.

a 600 cfm TBI with minor mods and a good computer chip can get that kind of numbers, 454's had 600cfm TBIs, and holley makes one to
they also make a TBI to multi port conversion its a little pricy but it supports that kind of numbers and a little better

Hopefully, I am over 400/400 @ flywheel, but i need a dyno to prove that. Your build sounds good since you are matching components properly. I'm running a lt-4 hot-cam, so you should only need to run a cam with a lot less lift. (hotcam w/ 1.6s is .525 on int and exh)

Well I saw where a member with 355 rwhp and 348rwtq ran a 11.68 1/4 with 3.42 I think a mid 12 street car will be perfect. I read your profile do you have any track times and do you have an idle clip of that hotcam? Was it difficult to get it tuned? and are you using the stock tbi? I have been looking at the comp cams tbi cam 08-300-8. Thanks for your help.

I built a 10.5:1 compression 350 TBI with a production LT4 camshaft and ported Dart Iron Eagle 180cc heads. Bored an edelbrock 3704 TBI intake to 2" and used a 2" 454 TBI and stock 350 injectors at 32 psi. Doug Thorley Tri Y's into 2 1/2" duals with X-pipe. Custom tuning tied it all togather. I made 324 RWHP and 306 RWTQ.

I think Fast355 may have broke the 300rw mark with his 310 even. He made 423fwhp & 415fwtq.

Re: Any tbi cars over 300 rwhp and 300 rwtq?
I don't think I'll ever get tuned completely; there is too much to tinker with. I have it idle at 850 right now.
I just read the post on Fast's 310. I wish it didn't get lock cause it is an extremely good read.
Is the LT-4 hotcam considered old, inefficient technology? Is the comp cam really that much better? I may replace the cam some day and go with a bit more lift since my heads are rated for .600 lift. I think .580 would be the highest I go.
ANYWAY, back to your post. I am able to obtain 11-13 hg at idle. I wait until I get it a bit better, then get some sound clips (on the road right now).
Good Luck!

Re: Any tbi cars over 300 rwhp and 300 rwtq?
hi guys, I went to the dyno this past friday,280 RWHP,at 5200rpm. 326 ft lbs max torque. Vortec 350,lt1 cam, 2" throttle body, open element air cleaner, shorty headers into 3" single exhaust. T56 trans ,3:23 rear gears. EBL and I know the tune is not perfect. Wonder why so much torque vs horsepower ? Lt1 cam maybe? later, Dean
