Pulley gains depend a lot on how high you rev the engine. BAck when I was doing "super-tunes" (80's and 90's),, pulleys on a L98 TPI was worth .09 - .15 seconds,, depending on existing mods.

Hey thanks guys for your input. I don't know I don't really think that hypertech knows quite what to do, there chips suck and from what it sounds like so do there pulleys.
Anyone else have any opions on them? I want as many people as possable. Thanks!!

I have the march pully on my lt1 and I didn't notice any gain from it. If I were you I would save my money and put it into something more substantual.

I've got an underdrive crank pulley on my car, only because the original was bent up. It didn't seem to make any difference for me.
I actually had some trouble with the alternator belt getting too close to the lower-left water pump bolt which is threaded off the bolt head for the smog pump bracket mount. Since the pulley is smaller, it brought the belt in closer to this part. I had to find another bolt with a flat head.
There's better things available to increase performance.

Sypder I have the power and amp series as well and they felt like they helped me out a little. I could feel it pull a little harder. It is one of those little things that will always help you out. I also have no problems with charging at all. I have the 2 piece btw.

They are worth it if you engine runs at a higher rpm i.e. idle 1200 up. It can save the bearings in your waterpump,Air cond. compressor, smog pump, and alt. They are especially necessary if your running 3.42-3.73 gears and a 2800 stall convertor.
