for about $300 - $500. you could stick in a 350 engine from the yard or something like that. and you have instant power gain.
and spend another $500 and you have even more power.
thats what im in the process of right now
but i think nos is the cheapest way to get alot of power out of the engine.
also get new upgraded exhaust. headers and bigger pipe.
and you could free up some lbs from the car by removing any unwanted lbs. that could help bit.

alum. parts will help. like the cyl heads, intake, water pump. the radatior, heck if you have alot of money even an alum. engine block.
alum will help with lighting things up. roating parts or any part that moves can be changed to alum. that will lighten and give you some extra hp as well.
like the drive shaft. wheels, light wight pistons, Connecting rods.
you could get some underdrive pullies.
you can buy one of there twin turbo packages from ebay that sell for $899.
im not to sure how well they will work or how the quality of there parts are but im sure they will work for the time being and you can slowly upgrade the parts to. like different turbos, and the turbo headers and stuff like that.
or you can just get a Nos kit for afew 100 bucks.
but getting the exhaust work is probably help you the most right now and then you can add up parts and youll probably notice the power alot more to inted of having the small exhaust.
i believe the ehxuast on the 305 is. 2.25" or so? thats what it was on my car at least. upgrading to a 3" is probably a good idea.
