350 tpi stalling while driving
So Im cruzing along then all the sudden my RPMs drop to 500,the car stays running but has NO throttle response, dead peddal, then all the sudden jumps up to 2000 RPM and slowly settles back down to normal idle, then everything is fine. This is happining periodically, during stop and go driving, never when cruzing highway,no check engine light. I will be checking my fuel filter and changing my igntion modual tomorrow, could my TPS be going bad? any input is greatly appreciated thx.

Here's the relay on my '88, the '89 should be the same:
I don't think it's expensive.

THX! I oredered a relay they are a wopping 11 dollars.Yea she fires up just fine, just a touch of the key.The pressure is great usually 60 on start up and settles down to around 45 when warmed up,only seems to do this when I do alot of stop and go,turning the car on/off city driving.all the gauges read correct when this is occuring.wish I had a fuel pressure gauge inside my car to read when this is occuring...
