cam specifications

Hi all!

I have a comp cam supposed agressive and advertised as 412 lift at 030 duration in my 355 chevy engine (bought the var like this). Does someone know what profil and lift that cam is at the regular 050 duration that everyone uses?

Thanks!

Re: cam specifications

That's really not enough information to know exactly what cam you have in the engine. If it's a comp cams camshaft, the part number is on the camshaft itself, however the cam must be removed from the engine for you to see it. If you have the part number, you can find all the specs for that cam.

Re: cam specifications

Actually none of what you posted really makes sense. Duration is normally posted at .050" lift. Not lift at .050" duration. Also a cam with only .412 lift is not even close to being an aggressive cam.
