Car only has 60k miles, what Weight and Oil would you recommend me using on it?

If you live in a cooler climate, use 5W-30. If you live in a warmer climate, use 10W-30.

I use Castrol GTX High Mileage, 5W-30. My 1991 Camaro has 120 K, and still runs like new, No leaks. The car's had 5W-30 running through it for 21 years.

You just had the oil changed at the dealer, and it's not running as good now? I would take it back and tell them.

I've been using Valvoline MaxLife 10w-40. I have the typical leaky valve seals, although this oil doesn't cure that.

Thinking of trying out the new Quaker State Defy.

I think I saw where Edelbrock is producing a high zinc oil for flat tappet motors.

No, it's not a myth. That's why I offered two choices in synthetic base oils to maintain the ZDDP.
