89 formula 350 - freaks out when warms up
Hello,
got this problem out of no where. when my car gets warmed up, it starts to bog out and the RPM's jump and the car stalls out and runs like crap. once the car cools off, it starts right up and runs normal again until it heats up. i just noticed that the 2nd fan of the car is now turning on so i don't know if one has to do with the other. can anyone assist? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks

I have the same issue. 88 350 tpi stock. When the car warms up it sidles high (1000rpm in park). Temp sensor is new, fuel filter is new, fresh oil change done, etc

I think he means the ECU temp sensor which is on the front of the intake manifold under the thermostat area. The one on the passenger side controls the secondary fan only. There is also another temp sensor on the driver side between 1 and 3 that is for the gauge.

Yes, the one on the pass manifold controls the secondary fan. Do you know which of the 5 relays in the car control that fan? that is the one that I need to check to see why it is not activating. Also on a side notes, I had bad fuel which is why the car was running like crap. All injectors had 17.8 ohms
