Civic Put in it's place....... in my rear view mirror...twice....
well i was on my way home from sears and get along side this 00-02 type civic. white with corn burner wing, fart cannon, along with some decent rims. his girlfriend was in the pass seat... this made it even better
well i'm guessing he thought he had a chance. well as i was at the light, he kept reving and reving and reving. well i threw one good loud rev at him back. well the light goes green and i baby it of the line still spins . on top on first i start to gain traction and buh-bye civic it was ugly. by the time i was getting ready to hit third the car was like 10-20 cars back...... well there was some traffic up ahead so i slowed down back to about 20-30mph. well this clown proceeds to go in the ? median? paved center road marked only for turns) and passes me along with other motorists . what a clown(non-typical flyby). i'm guessing he's still flooring it at the time. well as soon as i get clear of traffic and back to open road i hit it. at this time he was 15-20 cars ahead. well needless to say it didn't take long to catch up and pass him maybe 10-12 seconds. well i did catch and flyby him @ 120 then proceeded to hit 130 and he was far behind just like the first time. after i hit 130 i slowed down back to normal speeds. i just had to embarass him in front of girl. especially when he's trying to show off. well that's all for know. it was a unexpected race, but fun.

So he bought a brand new economically based automobile and decides he's got one hella fast race car with rims and an enlarged tailpipe? Wow, maybe he needs to do some research on buying cars and or engines that are more power/sports oriented. Maybe he watched that stupid movie too many times. If your going to start drag racing a honda civic why not put an aftermarket motor or some good performance parts in it before you do. I'm rambling
I'm sorry, I should respect an automotive enthusiast for what he likes right? I guess it just doesn't make too much sense to me at this point. The only logical answer I can think of is maybe he is on a budget, or maybe he just likes to go fast in his near stock civic.... but it's just too bad it takes him a while to get up to speed.

Nice kill. I have experienced a newer civic (an '00 civic 2dr EX auto) from the passengers seat. Wow the FEEL fast and SOUND fast, but then you look at the speedo and realize it is just that feel and sound, but not actually. My rs feels slow (and rightfully so with a stock LO3 with 100k on the clock), but out accelerates those things. I guess the short wheel base and high reving vtech all makes you feel faster. (not to mention the incredibly short nose on em) I have seen the turn lane trick a few times and i just wait to hear or see the crash. The dumb azz is lucky he lived to be imbarassed again.

are you stupid or something taking your car to triple digits on the street is dumb free way ok but not the street 130 is 3x the speedlimits on most streets. thats a felony in cali and more than likely your state too. plus a very big fine and your car impounded. good kill though. but 130 on the streets is too fast for me.

open road as in freeway, 6 lane to be exact. no up/down ramps no cars on the road. it was early in the morning. i am very familiar with the road as well. my car can get to those speeds in no time and slow down in the same fashion. not like some cars that take forever to hit 100. i built the car to handle predictably at that kind of speed. i'm not an idiot that hauls *** around with a completely stock suspension and brakes. now that would be dumb. on the open road i would hit those speeds only if i'm familiar with the road. i would not hit those speed on any street. too risky.
now your are the stupid one. no need to be childish and be name calling.
