What will an '89 iroc with a TPI 350 and maybe a mild cam backed with an auto and 3.23 gears run in the 1/4 ?
What was a stock tpi 350 rated at in 89 ?
I beat this guy pretty bad with my buick when he had a tpi 305 in it Ild like to no If I can still do it

A stock 350 TPI should run between 14.3-14.6 I would think depending on the driver, but throw in a better cam, and I would say knock .2 off that.

Since he has the one with 3:27 gears stock has 240HP/345TQ.
Oops, sorry I was thinking about another post that had those gears, an '89 only came with 3:27s or 2:77s, now if the car was an original 2:77 then it has 230HP, not sure of the TC but I would say around 330.

Last I heard this guys finally got his car done now I've got to find him.
He went with an edelbrock performer RPM intake and edelbrock 600cfm carb instead(he was going to run a TPI set up) .Will him having carb help or hurt him?
The motor IS NOT ORIGINAL to his car its a low compression late 70's early 80's motor ,the bottom halfs been over hauled the only other mods I know of are a MILD cam it has no lope to it and idles good, a set of small tube shorty headers , and a 3" y pipe breathing threw a stock cat. He claims to have 3.73 but I say
3.42's at the most.
Will I still beat him ? Sould I put $ down on it?
Read my signture and let me know ,thanks.
