no need to have a NAWWWWWWWWS rage(was that funny? don't take it personal, just being stupid). You made a good point about the sunfire thing however yer going way to far with the name calling. So yer thread got closed, big whoop. Start another one about the thirdgens at importfest. It's questionable in my mind whether or not the thread should have been closed also however when you have a problem you should take it up with those who are responsible instead of causing a big scene. I guess we cant always 100% of the time be expected to only talk about thirdgens... I think as long as we're talking about cars in general and that the basis of the conversation arised from that of thirdgen interest than there should'nt be a problem. Anyway, if you have a problem, take it up with those involved and dont just dump your exhaust in the middle of the road cause you think it's junk please

I don't think it was a knock against you EASYSPEED, it was just HUGHS having to enforce the rules that from what I understand Camarodave broke when he posted the pic of the Miata.

Here is the following rule:

"If you are attaching images or other files which have no bearing on a thread, please stop. You are not cute, original, or funny when you attach images that fill up hard drive space on the server and slow everyone's connection. Image attachments are for the purpose of showing pertinent information to the browsers of this forum. If you have already attached an image once, please do not attach it again in another post or thread. Instead, link to the image. This conserves server hard drive space as well"

You are however in violation with this thread though of the following rule:

"Do not post messages about site policy, criticism of moderators/administrators, or another user ever. We have a feedback forum for site policy, and private messages can be sent to anyone you have problems with or want to contact. "

I think I just violated that policy also...oops!

Again I understand your annoyance but I don't think your post theme was the main cause, just the content of the contributers that got it locked. Please EASYSPEED don't you leave to cause we all look forward to your sticker updates.

The post was flame bait and do not try tell me it is not. The miata had nothing to do with the post. When you get the pics repost them. Then it will not be locked. Next time if you have a problem send a pm. You just got off probation you should have learned from that. I made an announcement last week asking you guys to keep things thirdgen related for a little bit till the $hit passes then things are back to normal.

Dude you don't even know what you're talking about. My probation was accidental. Brad thought I did something when I didn't and immediately took me off it. If anybody should be on probation it's you.

Secondly, how was it flame bait? You forget the fact that not everybody is against import cars. You are a hipocrit. You talk about imports whenever your sunfire is brought up. The second somebody else starts talking about anythign to do with imports you flip. I know many people would love to see pictures of the supras I took from the show, or other great cars.

This is a thirdgen discussion board, but last I checked it is also a discussion board where people interact in Ontario.

It comes down to this - it's a TECHnical board here, which no one but Dirk sets the overall rules for. You do what the hell he asks of you guys, and if you respect him, he keeps this unbelievable resource up for you. How damn hard is it to follow a few BASIC rules...? If it's that hard, leave - the admins may have shown a bit too much flexibility in the past, but everyone's known from day 1 what this place is about.

rules are set ..you dont like it,leave..you dont like the way moderators run this plac ..E-mail or PM them like a civilized net-citizen..If those avenues dont work then complain to the owners of the site.If you dont like what you want to hear from the owners..leave..Each person like many things other than thirdgens..but this site is built for that..They let non thirdgen stuff slide but pictures they dont..

I prolly would have let your carshow post slide... but no need to get all excited about it being locked. For gods sake... if you have a problem with an individual on the board USE A PM or MSN them... don't clutter the board with stuff like this.
