Nice job on the fab work!

I don't like to discuss my ongoing projects because it seems to jinx them! Let's just say I'm not planning on anything too radical.

Well Ratchet .....
I am presently ........

Porting & Polishing the intake plenum and runners ( don't know whyI am polishing the stock runners ..... think'n of an Edlebrock base and runners)
Then I have to ..... repair a torn subframe rail that holds the tranny mount ........long story of a previous owner ...doing micky mouse repairs on this poor thing.
Putting in a Tremic TKO 5-speed ( my T-5 is shot ! ). Possibly a centreforce II ( mayyyyyybeeee ) But I am changing the throwbearings , etc
Getting a PST dulxe frontend kit , SFC's ,ALCA, PB and possibly that new tourque arm . Changeing the rest of the cars bushings to PE.
Changeing to a 3.42 rearend( from the current 3.08 posi )

and finally I might get this ZZ4 cam I have my eye on

I am sure that you will get some return for porting your runners even if you don't buy the high dollar ones.

What is the tansmission going to cost you? I am thinking about a 5 speed also.

Oh yeah and what is a PST Front end kit.

Very nice kit that front end should be really tight.

Thats alot of money for the transmission. I will have to search the bone yards

RaTchet...looks interesting!

D's89IROCZ: If you haven't already bought the PST kit then save your money. I was set on that kit a couple years ago and someone a little more in the know steered my away from it. Apparently they are not true poly bushings. Go for something like Energy Suspension. I can give you a whole list of parts that I bought when I did my upgrade, if you need it.

boxes

I have a ton of parts in boxes in the garage seems I can't take the garbage out without stepping on headers or rear gears or rockers or TPI upgrades or head stuff... and my wife is getting tired of signing for UPS deliveries.

I hurt my back really bad a month ago and it isn't getting better any time soon. Can't work on the engine (can hardly walk) too bad I guess I'll miss most of this years build up.

adious,
RP.

You can always donate the parts to a someone who is more able-bodied?!?...ME! Except the headers...you can keep those, I got my own.

Palric

Hurtin yer back really sucks. I hope it is just a muscle injury and nothing that a little R&R won't cure.

As for the parts maybee you could get your wife to prop you up in a lawn chair out in the garage where you could direct her in performing the mods you had planned for the winter.

You know spending quality time together. Who knows in return for an education in wrenching she may even run and get beers for you while your kickn back.

Seriously I hope you get better soon.
