London Area Fbody

So who's interested in a little more organization for fbodies in the area? A regular hangout spot and weekly/monthly meetings for anything from just a cruise to ripping it up on the track(1/4mi, autox, road racing, etc...).

I've talked with a few people now right here in London(met Mike today who just drove by in a SWEET IROC and stopped to say hi when he saw me working on my car) and we could be setting up some great things here guys. Anything from discounts at parts stores to shootouts with other clubs to fundraisers with prizes. Would make summer a little more fun.

I'm not saying start up a club with membership fees but if we had something we all belonged to and particpated in together frequently it'd be fun and easier to get help or whatever when ya need it.

Thoughts, suggestions...?

Hey Brad,

Not really that new an idea... I've talked to Jay a few times and he's been thinking the same thing. Tonight when Mike stopped by and mentioned the idea as well we both said lets get something started.

GB is a great idea. Maybe we could setup 1 or 2 wednesdays a month(2 dates would make it easier for people) and make it the same each month to go. Say like the first and third wednesday of each month kinda thing... Don't expect people to go all the time but at least we can plan to go together easier and see who else may be going via weboard.

Also a hangout spot like Timmies is always a good idea...

Not making it out tonight guys If it dries up the air will be great but the track probably cold. Just have to get my damn exhaust modified a bit to fit around my moroso street/strip pan. It's not angling around the pan properly. So close tho!

Thats OK Prolly be a couple weeks till I can save up the $ to go again.

We gotta go back to Exeter today sometime and pick up one lime green Mustang from the McDonalds parking lot. #!@&*#$ starter, and I didnt have the muscle to push that friggen thing far enuff to bump start it. So we left it there. FORD, well at least they circle the problem.

She's been in for about 3-4days now but still not fired up. I'm waiting on my buddy to finish my exhaust... Hedman y-pipe is having some interference with my oilpan. Otherwise I'm good to go!

Hey Jay, I could use a hand with some of the wiring if yer available?

Yeah man... just give me a call. I'm going to the cottage this weekend.... and I will be around all next week and next weekend except for Friday (Aylmer Demo Derby). Can't wait to hear that thing fire up! You sure didn't waste any time... makes me feel bad for taking so long with mine!

Sounds great! Would be nice to hook up with some friends a bit more regularly. Not quite up to running a club yet but we probably have a few of us in London who would be up for a get together every so often. I often hit Sparta on Fri nites and CT Dundas Sundays...??? More suggestions?

I was out of town, but yeah, it's pretty nice for a P-body . Love the 4th gen dash tho! Usually a fair number of 3rd gens there and always lots of F-bods! We gotta start hookin up more formally, so I have more people to con into helping me on my car, those headers would look better under the hood than in the basement and the car has not been out in about three weeks now
