Car: 1989 Iroc-Z
Engine: 350, ZZ4 equivalent
Transmission: Pro-Built Road Race 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Dana 44
I wouldn't run TPI on anything bigger then a 350. Also if you engine is going to be any better then a stock 350 I would buy some aftermarket TPI parts like runners and a new base.

A 327 is not cost effective, don't bother with one.

A 327 and 350 will make similar power levels. The 23ci difference doesn't play a huge role. You'll find the 327 will rev slightly higher and the 350 will make slightly more torque.

All in all though, the 355 seems to work the best with a TPI setup.
