700R4 problem
My car runs great, and idles around 7-750rpm in gear. My problem is that when sitting at a stoplight, I have to have my foot on the brake really hard or the car will inch forward? Thats got to be trans related right? Is it a bad adjusted TV cable, internal problem? TC problem?
In other cars I have driven, (not f-bodys) even the slightest bit of brake pressure holds the car at a stoplight?
Is something wrong, or is this just the way these cars act?

Re: 700R4 problem
700 - 750 idle in gear is a tad high - I think should be closer to 500 - 600 (but I'm no TPI expert - the TBI cars idle lower). But - that little bit shouldn't make you have to hold it that much harder. My carbed car idles at about 750 in gear, and I'm not grunting to hold it.
