Yeah, but I was more astonished that the 3500 heads in stock form almost compete with $1800 Abbott heads. This tells me that you are not getting any more air into the engine thn the 3500 heads, unless you go to 4 valves.

The stock 3.4 thats at the bottom of the graph, are those the old iron heads or the FWD heads?

Those are the iron head numbers. The aluminum heads flow at 145~/210~ at 0.50 lift.

dam i just missed an ebay auction, 2 bare blocks 2 crank/rod sets 2 pistion sets, 6 sets of heads 1 set just rebuild and 2 gaskets sets and ring sets for the dohc motors

3500 stock intake:
220 CFM @ .550
223 CFM @ .600

firstfirebird - I have flow numbers from the 2.8L carburated iron heads if you want to add that to your graph. They were flowed with 28" of water, was that the setting for the others on your graph?
