throttle body rubber adaptor help.

im trying to get rid of the ribbed hose from my 2.8 and im having trouble finding the correct size to mount a 3inch pvc (3.5in including wall thickness) to my throttle body.
if i take a 3.5 inch to 3 inch reducer would that work? 3 inch being used on the throttle body side or will that keep slipping off? i was looking into this but id rather be sure before i buy it..

thanks guys - Aaron

searched it and couldnt find anything to the diameter to use on the TB side..

Re: throttle body rubber adaptor help.

This one is down from 3inch off the tb to 2 1/2 pipe for my charge piping.

Believe me if you clamp it well it will never slip off. Ive ran up to 18psi or so and never had it blow off.

PVC is tricky though as if you have high engine bay temps that stuff may not always bold up right, but im not sure to be honest.

Re: throttle body rubber adaptor help.

Cool ill order ir then it
The pvc has help up really well. And it doesnt really get too hot since the routing is not in the engine bay and i guess it stays pretty cool. Eventually when i get my turbo build finally going(need spare car, learn to weld, and buy my tuning software and training on that) ill swap to the other piping
Thanks
