And what kind should I get that will have the best traction and looks on the street? im lookin at bf goodrich radial ta's aound a 275 60 15 in the back what size to put in front?

First you need to decide what wheels you are going to run, what the backspacing will be on them (do you like the deep dish style of the FWD look of the 4th gen wheels?), if your running a 3rd gen width axle or a 4th gen width axle, and if you are willing to modify (cut/hammer/etc.) to get something to fit how & where you want it to.

Widest? You can fit a 33" wide Pro Street tire. Just take a lot of work to make it fit.

And you spec out a 275/60, yet you ask the widest? I've seen 335s fit with only minimal mods.

As for the front....What is the cars intended purpose? Drag racing? Autocross? Street?

stock wheels?? 255's are about the widest you should put on an 8 inch wide rim. i wouldn't go wider than 245 in the front they will rub fender wells pretty bad when you crank the wheel.

I dont wanna mod anything I want it to bolt on and off, right now they are american racing ventura rims until i deCIDE WHICH RIM TO USE WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN IT IS A BAD CAR FOR RIMS. I want it to be a street car and the front tires dont have to be wide but an appropriate size to the widest size tire that bolts in , in the back. I think it is an 8 inch rim but may be 10. ALso I like the deep dish rim best.

I would always run 275/60/15's on 15x8's, and 28x11.50 ET Streets on the same size wheels. I never had to mod anything. 335's fit in 17" size. I have already fit 275/50/16's, and 315/35/17

I run 275/60/15s on my 15x8s. But 295/50/15s will fit also. I've read on here that you can fit 10" wide wheels with a 6.5 back spacing.

I have run a 15x10 with a 5.5 backspace. Fit pretty center. It was tight on the inside

Back in the day we put some 295 50 15's on 15x10 rims out back... Fit good, but don't remember the backspacing. The were uni lug Cragar SS's that I pulled off my duster to try.

I run 235/60r15s on 7in wide wheel on the front and think there perfect.They tuck in nice and don't rub during hard turning. I think 255/60r15s look best on 8in wide wheels rear for a street/strip car.275s are to tall.
