9bolt diff cover?

I recently got a 9 bolt rear with disc brakes and some sot of posi. I cant find any aftermarket covers for it. Does anybody know where to get one from? Also, can antone tell me how to find out what kind/size gears are in it? There are only some numbers stamped on the crown gear (none of witch are ratio #'s). I cant read the pinion gear. The posi casing has "Austraila" stamped on it and so do the outer baring covers. Any help is grate. Thanks. Oh, if anyone wants the # that are stamped, just let me know. Thanks.

I also have the Australian 9-bolt. I havent seen anything relating to these rears except gears(which are very expensive, at least the ones I've found).Mine ratio is 3.27 in an 89 Formula (RPO G80).Good luck with the cover. I'll be watching the post see if anyone else knows.Mine is a limited slip with 4wheel discs.

check your axle code for gear. should be either

2.77/3.08 (usually auto w/ 305 or 350 with single cat car)

3.27 (usually auto w/ 305 or 350 with dual car car)

3.45 (should be stick and 305 only)

3.70 only aftermarket gear available

When I bought my 9-bolt I did an extensive search for gears, posi replacements, and covers with little to no luck. These rears don't brake, but I'll be screwed if it does... No cover found for the 9-bolt.

Are these rear ends different from the borg warner 9 bolt? If not you can get gears for them as long as they are the 3:73 kind. You can get these from precision gear.

Same rears... and it is the 3.70 gear. 3.73 is for the 10-bolt. The gears are also more $$$ from the few places you can find them.

Search the tranny/drivetrain forum, I've posted on this topic numerous times. However nobody has found a replacement cover, only stock.
