Should get the May issue in 2-3 weeks. Don't know about the newstands. Your car in there?

Too Bad Gm High tech doesn't cover engine swaps for thridgens or something. The CTS was cool. Alot of subscribers are complaining about their subjects.

very true....granted it is hard to please everyone but some nice topics here and there would be good. look at the mustang magazines and how many fox bodies are printed. it's no wonder why the aftermarket is so large for them. even though it's comparing apples to oranges if one counted all the thirdgens to other styles of that era printed you would think they are quite rare.

Are you talking about GM high tech performance or chevy high performance?

GMHTP has 'project snowball' or some gay name like that for a LT1 into third gen. Don't subscribe to CHP but I definately would if they had more 3rd gen stuff.

That is normal. The same thing happened to me when I first subscribed, 3 years ago. Then in the span of about 1 week, I had 3 issues arrive, the newest and then the 2 months previous. I thought that they screwed up, but it turns out they will send you a couple back issues to keep everyone renewing quarterly. It was nice when I forgot to send the check for my lateset renewal and missed two months, they sent the back months I missed. I just go through both Hot Rod and CHP and pull out the articles I find useful or relevant ans toss the rest away. I had a couple big *** boxes of back issues saved for this or that, but I've now compressed that down to a single 2" 3-ring binder.

The last CHP mags have had a lot of 3rd gen stuff in them. This months had a follow up project on the car that they put all that suspension stuff on. This time they added grey 70's style stripes. It looked pretty good. Over the last few months they did suspension stuff, steering, and appearance. Keeps me happy.

Haven't gotten my May issue yet, but it should be soon. Kandied your car should definately be in there. I had mine in the Readers Rides section last year and I definately think yours is nicer.

well was it in there or no? they told me may or june......they shot it in september and it seems they don't give out much info or even copies to those who have their cars done. news stands aren't until around march 18th i don't think.

Only third gen was teh same RS from the I think Feb issue(cover car) where they did all the suspention mods, and the article wasnt on the car. It was about how to beef a 10 bolt.

Maybe next month...

hmm I bet if I go looking through some old boxes, I might find that issue. (Had CHP/CC/HR from '90 to about '94, and I picked CHP back up in '00.)

well i'm surprised it wasn't in the may issue as the head editor sent me a personal email stating it would be??? i'll have to ask him? yeah i'm not surprised that it isn't, however they did pay someone to come all the way out here to shoot it so i'm sure it will eventually show up. guess i'll just have to wait and see.

Glad to see you are gonna get national recognition for an outstanding car I will buy that issue for sure :hail:

So if it was an ls1 they would print it? LS1 cars are in every issue it seems like. Lets face it, our cars are not worthy of "their" pages. Most buildups/features they do have weak story lines/information on these cars anyway. Not all of it is accurate or helpful. And its so true about the Fox Bodies/Mustangs, so much more out there for them. LT1 Caprices seem to get more respect than our cars! Oh well, i'll be looking for your camaros. Or is the other car a Firebird? later
