Thats strange,
According to my Shop manual they do.
Still have about ten plastic bottles of it purchased years ago.

GM# 1052358/ 4 US Fld OZ.

P.S. Got my cover last week and it is a nice looking piece.

Later

I run Mobile One in my nine bolt and was told to try it without the additive and see what happens. Runs just fine with out it. Your right in that the manual does call for it. Allen

Could someone explain these better. They put more pressure on the bearing caps right. Mine has handled 100+ hard launches with slicks + 215,000 miles of hard driving with only fluid changes. I think that its overkill for a 13 sec car.

Agreed. Parts for these things are hard to find....do everything you can to keep from breaking the ones you have.

I don't use additive in my 9 bolt

I used to have a 10 bolt if you don't put it in those they click when you take corners

the reason for the additive is because of the type of posi
9 bolt uses cone posi, 10 bolt uses a clutch type
