Automall inc has the 80/100w Bulkbs they say will work...well the are to hot and start the wiring to over heat - 55/60watt bulbe are the norm.
2004 Momo are the ones I have and are a great set. They include the wiring to re-do the setup complete now. Otherwise you have to figure how to repin the lights. Which I think is mentioned above in this thread. Because many of us had to do this.
Just my thoughts ~Ed~

This guy is full of it - Just think of what the conversion to that large of a light in the front of a Third Gen would cost. Big cost to convert with very little gain - if any. Nope he's full of Sh**. Just who is he kidding? Don't get the ones from him...

I'm using the Momo lights as well. They seem to be fine, came with the factory sized bulbs.
Anyone have an issue with installing the with the "TOP" lettering up or down?

Hello Vernw,
Well I have never thought about that. Mine are installed with the small cruse light on the bottom - Without taking them out
I do not know if they are in top up or down. I would think that it would not matter if they will go in upside down. The only thing would be the wiring would then have to be upside down. With the wiring conversion (Cross pinning) there's plenty to play with. All four of the mount stops, on the back top edges of the housings, are in the same position on both lights - So, humm, good question. ~Ed~

I think the only reason the top is indicated is because their are 3 or 4 nipples in the headlight used to attatch headlamp aiming devices. The reflective back may also have a different shape to diffuse the light correctly. Most headlamps i've dealt with wont sit in the bucket correctly if it is upside down, but i've never changed my lights so i'm just full of sh**.

On my MOMO's I also have the the blue cruise light on the bottom. All their eBay pix show it on top. And my front clear glass plate has the letters "TOP" on it, and to get them to focus clearly and have the "correct" light pattern IMO I had to put the "TOP" "down"....
And FWIW, the nipples on the back are symmetrical so they'll fit in the light buckets both ways.

Hello VernW,
Well seems as if you are correct. When I was fiddiling with them, to get them to show better. I must have turned them over, and did not notice the "top sign." So my dims have the top on the bottom, and the brights are on the top. So I will have to agree with you that they do shine a better, wider pattern on the road when up side down. My bright lights, also from Momo, are better when installed top up. Go figure - humm.
