Always used regular/OE replacement plugs. Mainly AC/Delco and never had any problems.

Re: PLUGS!!!

ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT....if you have headers use ACCEL plugs for headers they're great for the headers since they are shorter

Re: PLUGS!!!

The Royal Purple radiator additive? If so, havent tried it, but with the reputation of RP, I might give it a try sometime.

I dumped a whole bottle of the stuff into a stock cooling system (except for thermostat) and it made 0 difference.

Not saying It's a POS product, I'm sure it would have some effect with a beefier cooling system, but for me it did nothing.

Re: PLUGS!!!

the AC delco rapid fires have never let me down yet. its a good idea to get the platium plugs for our cars because doing plugs on our cars are a pain in the ***.

also the purple ice stuff worked for me when i used stright water with the water wetter. the temptures drop faster when i turn on my fans and it tends to stay really cold on the free way

Re: PLUGS!!!

I just basicly ordered a new ignition system for my 89 and I'm going to try the E3's. I put one in my lawnmower and it worked great! My car has Bosch platinums in it now. I also got a new coil, cap and module ect... I'm fighting with a hard start problem and hoping this helps. I always had good luck with Delco's just couldn't find them this time.

Re: PLUGS!!!

I don't own a camaro but I've never had a problem out of NGK or Denso. AC Delco plugs are good as well.

Re: PLUGS!!!

i was watching gears the other day and they compared a few brand of plugs bosch, ac delco etc and they said that e3 plugs were the only ones to increase horsepower on the dyno just curious if anybody has tried them

Re: PLUGS!!!

ive used a lot of different plugs. I dont really care for the bosch plugs splitfires are a joke, ac delco plugs are great. i really liked the champion plugs. And Im about to install a colder set of autolites in my new motor. Delco are still the best in my opinion.

Q. Aren't Delco plugs made by NGK???

I've never had any problems with Delco plugs since owning my car from 2000, and I've only used Delco's.

Watched the similar ''review'' on Horsepower on Powerblock TV. They might work like they say but for $6 (I think) each, I would keep it to a very last thing to look into.

Like I said, Always ran AC Delco/NGK and never had a problem and probably plan to keep using them. The only other brand I would use otherwise would be Accel.

Re: PLUGS!!!

I've been using NGKs in all my performance vehicles with zero complaints. I use AC Delco or Champions in my daily-drivers...

on some apps, you are correct. i remember doing the plugs on my 97 GTP and finding the OE plugs were still in it from the previous owner. one side had AC Delco and their part number on it, other side had NGK and their part number.

Re: PLUGS!!!

AC Delco all the way. I am not about to over pay for a set of plugs.I dont care if they are platinum or any other type. As long as they are the same heat range that GM calls for get them and be done with it.
