eBay Upper Hinge Door Bushings
Cheap at $40.00 shipped per door and they install very easy (if you do not read the directions). Lot's of grammatical errors on the installation sheet. I would recommend installing these with and air chisel or a c-clamp. Pressing them in with the bolt just creates broken bolts. They did a great job tightening up the upper hinge. Sure beats 75-100.00 per door. Nice machined piece with a self oiling bushing. Only took around 1.5 hours to do both doors. Well worth the time invested.

I bought a set of those a few months back. Still havent had the time to install them. Good to see someone that they worked good for.

I wouldn't have posted but to me $100.00 per door is way too much for a few bolts and bushings.

Thats the exact reason I bought my set. I dont drive the car enough to ever need greaseable ones. These will probably outlast many other things on the car.

These work great and you can install them without removing the doors. I did my doors with them. I put the fitting to grease them in myself. Just drill a small hole in bolt head install fitting and drill small hole in side of bolt to meet hole drilled for fitting. When you install these your doors will be very very tight for a while until they work their way in.

Re: eBay Upper Hinge Door Bushings
Well I got around to installing these today.
Im glad I put them in the passenger door. Yes the work, but I have concerns. Main concern was the lack of any thrust washer. The door right now is alittle stiff opening and closing. I hope it loosens up alittle bit. I may have overtightned the bushings, not sure, very hard to tell with the e-bay kits.
I have to say, when time comes to do the driver's side door, I will be going with Top Down Solutions hinge kit. Even with the higher cost, I think I will be much happier in the end.
