Spohn would probably make one if you ask him very nicely all his products are made by hand and you can find his link right at the top of this page.

I HAVE SEEN THIS ROLLBAR IN A CAMARO OR TWO IN MAGAZINES PIC'S FROM CAR SHOWS, AND HAVE SEEN THEM IN THE MUSTANGS. DONT GET ME WRONG , I DONT WANT TO COPY A FORD. BUT I THOUGH THIS WOULD BE A GOOD WAY TO MOUNT A 5-POINT HARNESS IF I GO WITH NEW FRONT SEATS. I WANT TO GO WITH BLUE AND BLACK SEATS.

I completely understand about not wanting to cut up your interior. I hate the fact that I am going to have to. I have seen single bars in cars but I am going to have to compily with NHRA regulations to run below 10.99 1/4 mile.

I think you are talking about the Hooker "car bar". I'm not sure if they make it anymore, but I suppose you could try contacting Hooker.

I put a 4 point bar in my car. It is functional and I didn't have to hack up the interior to do it. Plus I still have use of my back seat. I weighed the pieces before installing them and the total was around 40 lbs.

randy92z

randy the 6-point in a convertable would be cool. I would make sure I either color matched the paint or put in a chrome one. Remeber when the tops down the roll bar could make your ride or break your ride. Im sure you will make a good choice.

Jed. thanks for reminding me about hooker. I have not contacted them yet but will give it a try.

NHRA requires 6-point at 11.99 and faster. FYI. If you're going to use a harness PLEASE at least use a 4point bar. the rear struts can go rearward and then kick out. Look where the rear speakers are at on a 4th gen. that is where you need to mount the rear struts. If done correctly, you will be able to have peeps in the back seat too.

We have a local track here that may end up IHRA sponsered, so I think I may go with the 6-point. I would like to use my rear seats or at least leave them in, It just dosent look good to me without them.

Thanks for the Info guys.
