Take form Spohn's web site;

Repositions your instant center by lowering your control arm angle for increased traction and anti-squat. Lowers rear of control arm up to 3".

This product is a must for lowered vehicles to correct your suspension geometry. Lowering your vehicle alters the LCA angle putting the rear of the LCA higher than the front of the LCA, this causes massive wheel hop and traction loss.

NON-LOWERED vehicles will also see a dramatic increase in traction by lowering the rearward angle of the LCA with our relocation brackets. The lower mount holes are placed in the arc pattern of the OEM length LCA. Therefore allowing a non-lowered F-Body to drop the rear LCA angle and NOT require a longer than OEM LCA. All geometry is correctly maintained. The anti-squat performance is providing most users with a full .10 or better 60' reduction!

that's my point.........even under a good amount of horsepower....my car only spins, no wheel hop after the mod.

if someone could please explain why i might need the relocation brackets i too would be happy to add it to the list.

my car is at stock height, but my gear is 2.73's, if i change to a lower gear and relocate my lower control arms should this take care of the wheel hop?

I had a 3.42 complete disc rear and let it go. I didnt have time to swap it and and the rear clip it was under was being picked up. I wish I could have kept the 3.42's. but at least my 2.73's have posi. Im thinking of going with 3.73.

2.72 gears (if such a thing existed) aren't lower than 2.73 gears. The numerically larger the number, the lower the gear.

glad you posted in my behalf. I guess some guys dont understand that numerical higher the gear the lower it realy is.
Thats why most people around here call 2.73's airplane gears.
which would be fine out on the salt flats but realy sucks on 60 ft times:lala:

:lala: this little dude looks like a marshmellow on crack
