hooker vs hedman headers

Who has the hooker competition (not super comp) the $141.95 ones form summit? Do you like them.

Who has the hedman street headers? The long or shorties are the same price. Did you like them?

I dont know which brand to get, the hookers or the hedman's!

Which would be better, the long or the shorties. My car is low already, will the long headers scrape the ground.

Did these headers come with the bolts, gaskets, and collectors?

I need advice. I waiting to place my order. I cant afford slp's or the edlebrock TES. I could go with the hedman Elite headers though $255.00 from jegs.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just installed a set of hedman long tubes. I had a problem with the drivers side header hitting the frame where the A-arm bolts on... I had to dent the tube severly to make it fit. The driver's side fits just fine. I was curious if others have had this problem with long tubes??

Anyways, they came with collectors, gaskets, header bolts, etc....
The quality was good - for 100 dollar headers. =)

I have the Hooker Shorties and love them. Very good quality but they didn't come with collectors, gaskets or a y-pipe.

Having had both I think the Hookers are better quality but the Hedman HTC's are the better choice, cost wise.

Has anyone out there tried the Super Comp hookers? Do they fit? Are there any other premium headers that fit well?

Thanks,
Ernie

I have Hedman shorties and they fit pretty well. Had to lift the drivers side of the motor to get that side to fit.. Didn't get a y-pipe though because I had a 3" custom made. Overall I like them, but I wish I would have got them coated, they might look a little bit better!!!
