Ati

I am having someone install my supercharger for me and was told I needed to order a few extra parts for it. The guy orders them for me, as well as a corvette supercharger for one of his other customers the day after he orders my stuff. The corvettes supercharger gets there the next day, and I am still waiting on my parts ... 2 weeks later!!!! This is getting rediculous.

I got a p600, but it was used though. It came with a pully upgrade and a 3 core intercooler though

F'n sweet! What are the specs of your motor/car now? Any times with it? I would like to go with ATI in the future. So they sell used units huh? Also, how much, "roughly", would it cost to have one installed? If i don't want to mess with it down the road i may have it installed. Sorry about all of the questions. Update us! later

no prob!

I have a ZZ4, 3.73's built tranny, sfc's, headers, stock tpi and runs a 12.9 right now ... that is in cold weather and with a great launch on drag radials. I am hoping for mid / hi 11's w/the blower!

ATI didn't sell it to me, I bought it off Ebay - we just had to get a few more parts for it

Damn, are you serious? You run a 12.9 with a stock TPI unit on a ZZ4! Pretty impressive. I am really getting excited about my set up now. Compared to other member's setups, i think i will be happy, if i get it to hook up! How's traction with those DRs? And did you switch out the Torque converter or the stock chip? Any idea of how much that install will run you either? Sorry once again for the ?s. Thanks for the info-Bryan

ha, no problem, Bryan!

Anyway, 12.9 is something I expected to be honest. I wasn't surprised at all when I got it. I had a 13.4 before the sfc's, built tranny, 2000 stall converter and when I still had 2.73 gears. I get anything from BS to wow thats incredible! Yes, I have a 2000 stall converter and an aftermarket chip. I am having the supercharger put on for $500. The drag radials hooked up pretty well, but I still got quite a bit of traction loss. Slicks would have been GREAT. After the supercharger, if I put slicks on, stuff will BREAK. I will have enough trouble on my hands keeping it together as it is.

That sounds good! I am looking for 11s N/A with probally more parts, and some tuning when i get into burning my own proms in the spring. Hopefully! I have to work with my suspension, it is pretty much stock for now. By the spring i really would like to get a 12 bolt rear, so i won't have to worry about anything breaking. I would like to see what the car will do in street trim as well as "drag" trim, with possibly light weight wheels and possible weight reduction. After that, a few years down the road that is, i would like to put on a blower. I would love to go turbo but right now it is a pretty complex upgrade for the "do-it-yourselfer"! How many street thirdgens do you see with turbos? Hell, i barely see any nice ones around here. Sounds like you are going have a nice set up soon. Any new word today on the parts? Try to post some pics when its done too. Good luck-Bryan
