Re: Classic industries

Not recently... In the past I've ordered a few things from them. Of course back then most of what they carried was NOS GM parts, not like mostly reproductions they offer now. To be completely fair, most of what they carry is the exact same parts everyone carries. Thirdgen resto parts aren't terribly common, not enough for multiple companies to commission the same part.

Re: Classic industries

Just curious. Had ordered a fuel sending unit from them and was hoping the accuracy of it for the gauge was going to be right on since NOS units aren't available anymore. Can't find them anywhere else that are new.

Re: Classic industries

I have used them in the past when I owned a 2nd gen TA, no problems. If I recall, they have an extensive catalog FWIW......By best luck sourcing parts for 3rd gens has always been TGO classifieds, junk yards, third gen ranch and hawks

Re: Classic industries

Thanks for the input. Was looking at interior as well. carpet, recovering seats, etc. 30 years takes it toll.

Re: Classic industries

Short of NOS, I'd expect all the aftermarket stamped sheetmetal is going to be from one of the few Asian stampers.

Re: Classic industries

Make sure to check shipping before placing the order.
Classic industries usually doesn’t have the most economical shipping.
Sometimes the part will be more expensive on another site but the total cost with shipping might actually be cheaper

Re: Classic industries

I recently bought their 6 gage panel ABS cluster. Shipping was free (black Friday) and it was sent very quickly. The quality of it is unknown until I tinker with it but overall it looks like a nice piece. Their catalog if massive. I wouldn't trust any non OEM metal regardless of the supplier.
