I ordered a z 28 hood and 92 lower front facia from summit. Anyone use summit for these parts? Free shipping to their store but 2 month wait.

 

Those parts? No.

Do I have a rap list with Summit that's a mile long after 30 years of foolish spending? Yes. Their customer service is spectacular. If you can't get along with them then there is no hope for you (and there are people like that ) .

Same here, nothing but good things to say about Summit.

I just ordered with them two weeks ago. Turned out I had to go out of town when part of my order was due to arrive. I tried to make a delivery change, but FedEx said, no, only Summit can make the adjustment. This was the day before it was due to arrive. I got ahold of Summit, and an awesome representative named Bella got the change made just before it was too late, and my shipment was pushed back to the following week. Worked out perfectly. Great customer service! I doubt Bella or anyone from Summit ever visits TGO, but in case someone does... thank you Bella!

 

I have used Summit and will say every transaction with them has been great and their shipping is very fast, probably the best for quick shipping of the big parts places.

 

I have nothing but good things to say about both Summit and Jegs. Both are fantastic to work with and have accepted many dollars from me over the years. Also can't agrue with their 'beat a price guarantees'.

 

They haven't been low price for many years. You can get them to price match but I don't play those games. Maybe 1/4 of my orders go to summit anymore for this reason. The other 3/4 is going to specialty shops with lower prices and better selection of parts.

 

I've ordered A LOT! from Summit, had their sales people say WOW when they see how many orders I've made(got a pile of their decals over 2" thick) AND they still won't give me the racers discount. Summit is decent on prices and usually ships fast to my door, they will make it right if there is an issue.

Jegs I've had a few issues with and currently one unresolved atm. I stopped primarily using them many years ago when they replaced a defective nitrouse plate that clearly was damaged before anodizing. They did exchange the kit but tacked on a $5 fee for my driveway after that. If only they knew how much I ordered from Summit or others after that.

I order from who ever has the best price and plan ahead so I usually don't have to wait if there are delays or problems. Usually have a few parts in some kind of limob these days. Waiting for an intake I ordered on thanksgiving still.

 

I've not had any issues until recently, nothing major.
Ordered Morimoto LED bulbs for ALL outer bulbs (minus headlights) for my Firebird.
Placed order, only but I only got half an order delivered ?
I called them up and pointed out, "your website says sold as a pair", they sent a single one.
So after some time on the phone, they decided to semi honor that, had changed some web pages, gave me some, had to buy the rest.
So next shipment, they sent 1 wrong bulb.
Called again, the guy said, "If this isn't right with the next shipment, you may need to send it all back"....???
As if I made all the mistakes in listing, advertising, shipping, etc...
Just want what I paid for.... no other issues with previous orders... still awaiting 2 shipments of these bulbs to complete order....
