Beware of this fraudster.
To any 1982-1986 Firebird owner with a headlight motor that needs rebuilding, "CharlesRUS" has an eBay listing claiming he can rebuild your headlight motor for $84.98. This is a RIPOFF. I lost $84.98 to this fraudster. Don't throw your money away. If you require a rebuild on your headlight motor, here is a link to an honest rebuilder. He can also install an optional metal gear in place of the factory plastic for a significantly longer lifespan. The link is:

If you're trying to find a new motor somewhere out there on the WWW, good luck. I searched for hours and found nothing.

Why would anyone pay that much to repair those? They are super easy to fix. Get the kit from Lon and basic socket set. Shouldn't take more than a half hour start to finish.

Don't even need a kit. Fill the center of the gear w/epoxy, put it back together...run the wee out of it.
