You will have to change your heads, unless you are already running vortec heads or plan to swap. The vortec style stealth ram is put under the weiand name. It's an easy install, about 3-4 hours. Save your money and get a fuel rail kit with a non-adjustable regulator, then pick up a Kirban (spelling?) regulator because the one that comes with it sucks.

Nope they do make one for the standard sbc head. Also you would have to mod your hood to make it fit and even then it's really close.

No for the Weiand brand, but the Holley brand SR will work with your heads. They have the Weiand listed as a substitute for the 87-95 heads, retarded. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-7540, this is what your looking for.

Did you read the link I posted above on WHAT IS NEEDED for HSR install?????
You already have a computer/wiring / TB / injectors /etc
You only need the intake and fuel rails.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WND-7540/
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-534-185/
Plenty of good deals 2nd hand

Re: Weiand Stealth Ram EFI for MY setup? help needed...
There is a stealth ram base and plenum kit for less than 400 bucks that will fit your L98 heads. Then need fuel rail kit for 200 more. Fuel lines to connect to hardlines custom made for 120 bucks or less in parts. That's it really.
Search for My holley stealth ram swap. I had a detailed swap thread with results on stock L98. Basically with exhaust headers 2800 stall and sticky tires I went 13.63 at 97 on stock TPI. Intake swap to hsr with drag wheels for less weight it went 13.2s at 101 in similar air. 1.6 rockers and pulleys with better air conditions I went 12.95 at 103.8

Look in the classifieds here and see what you can get. Might get a good deal on a complete swap. ezip has one up for sale, you don't need all of the parts he's selling, so see what he will take for the HSR, Kirban and Fuel Lines. $400 would be a fair price, but as always start low!

Try this one...................... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-7540/
The Weiand is for the Vortec heads. You can find Weiand products on the Holley web site. They must be part of the same company or they have merge together.

Holley owns Weiand, they put the vortec under that name to avoid confusion

That would explain why they list the Weiand as a substitute. Just make sure its for standard port heads

vortec stuff is FAR different than your factory L98 heads. You dont have vortec heads so you dont need anything vortec. If you want the stealth ram for your heads or any other aftermarket head thats NOT a vortec then go with the part number above... 7540

Re: Stealth Ram EFI for MY setup? help needed...
WND-7540 for 55-86 heads, WND-7542 for Vortec Heads and I don't see a number for 87-95 heads, but the WND-7540 fits 87-95 aluminum heads (info from Holleys site). Is there a difference between 87-95 iron and aluminum heads that I'm not aware of? I contacted holley to see why they changed the brand, I know they filed for Chapter 11 protection 1 year ago, but who knows. Too bad they didn't design an egr in it with the name change, that would be sweet! They're also $15 more than when I bought mine.

Stealth ram should be drilled to accept both bolt angles. Heads 4 center bolts are either 90 deg or 72 deg angle. An oval bolt hole on the HSR will fit either one. Mine came with a oval hole to fit either one.

Need HSR rails for HSR intake. TPI ones wont work. Its possible that the edelbrock victor rails can fit too but you'd be fabbing a slightly different regulator package with that and have to make your own crossovers.
