I see you are using the stock throttle bracket and linkage. How is the drivability with the cables being slightly offset? Do I see some sort of spacer in there to to better align it? I figured why try to reinvent the wheel when you already have. Thanks for the pics.

Re: lets see those HSR pics

It drives just fine. I just put some washers behind the bolts to make it as straight as possible.

The radiator hose I used was Advance Auto Parts P/N E71029. It has 1 1/2" water neck ID and 1 1/4" radiator ID. I had to a do a little cutting, and it didn't look like it was going to work. But it ended up working great. Here's a thread on it: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/alte...wap-upper.html

Re: lets see those HSR pics

I have the old style v-belts and I'm out in my garage right now trying to mock up power steering and a/c comp. I noticed the TPI intake had a specialized bracket that wont fit for new intake. What are you guys doing about that mount. Has anyone done a stealth swap in an older 3rd gen and retained the stock a/c compressor?

Re: lets see those HSR pics

For my 86 I bought a march bracket for my alternator, didn't keep the a/c so I can't help you there. The ps bolts to the heads/wp/block I used washers the same thickness as the a/c brackets to maintain the proper spacing.

I did the same as IROCthe5.7 using washers behind the bracket. For the hose you can just use a waterneck from a TBI f-body and you get to retain 1 1/4" to 1 1/4".

Re: lets see those HSR pics

What gaskets are you using? Mine sealed up to dart heads good. I used felpro 1205's. I know they did not fit perfect and needed to clear up a little in the ports, but it works great. Did you seal up properly the port on the bottom of the plenum? I could see that being an issue and easily forgotten about.

Re: lets see those HSR pics

with mine, i had to stack 2 1205 gaskets on top of eachother (glue them together). it needed extra thick gaskets to reach. mine works flawlessly after that. no leaks, no nothing. so buy to sets, then buy 3M yellow glue and mate the gaskets together and put it back to together.

What did you use to adapt them to braided lines? I know they make hard tube to AN adapters but I only can find them in the 3/8" to -6 for the feed line and nothing for the smaller return line.

Here is mine. I have a question though. Has anyone found the "sweet spot" for fuel economy and then the other sweet spot for all out racing??

Looks nice robby, how come you didn't cut the fuel lines and run them up the firewall though?

ROSWELL. :-)

Led strips under the fuel rails and TB. Doesn't show well in the pic, but the blue light makes the orange rings on the Viper injectors glow. My kids call it "Alien Tech". LOL.
