AFR 210's, Mini-Ram, 355 N/A

Anybody using AFR 210's on a 350 with a mini-ram? That's my next plan. Curious about real world experience. I'm want to use a manual trans and 3.73/4.10 gear........

I used to use the 210cfm with 75 cc CNC heads part number was #1100 on a 355 with a Vortech Supercharger and ran into a ton of issues with tuning. I now have a 434 CID and just torqued the heads down tonight. I just unboxed the TPIS intake and it is a TPIS II system.. Some kinda upgrade. I am seriously going to see my TPIS I system as I don't have a need for it any more and it is going to sit around and collect dust.

I ran that combo b4 but was a 89 350 auto. Went mid 11s on stock tune. Would have gone low 11s with a tune I'm sure.

210 street or comp port?
210 is plenty for a 350 how high are you going to rev it?

AFR 210 heads are great for something like my blown 412, but for a 350 the 195s have better velocity.

Im running AFR 235s on my N/A 400 stroker and wish I could get a 260-270cc 23* runner from afr. Prolly hit up the 18-15deg or SB2 stuff next

We'll have to line em up some time

Re: AFR 210's, Mini-Ram, 355 N/A

Think a 195 c port will get you there
210 c port will take a healthy 383+ there for comparison

Ive always used heads a little on the large side but am only interested in WOT/strip performance. You use/drive those a lot different with not quite the expectations of manners on the street. Buy the head for your build you have NOW....this buying too big and growing into later business will **** you off on your "now" build. Opinions will vary

Re: AFR 210's, Mini-Ram, 355 N/A

I'm putting together something similar. 358ci all forged. Fast burn heads, zz409 cam 1.6 rr. 10.2 to 1 cr. my original intent was to run a miniram but wondering if I should consider another converted carb style manifold? I'm open to suggestions. Maybe my best bet is the miniram. I've done a search and it all seems to depend on setup and combo. Just looking for some info from people Thant have been there. Thanks

Re: AFR 210's, Mini-Ram, 355 N/A

Afr 195 can support 7000 in a 350 but i would use the 210 if your hp peak is gonna be over 6500 rpm. Its not too much head. Afr's have a small csa for the runner size and are a fast velocity head compared to other similar cc heads out there. If you are making power to shift at 7k you are not worried about whats under 4k rpms lol

1989gtatransam has ported afr 222 cc on his 369" sbc revving to near 7k with peaks in the 6600 range
