I just bought an '02 6.0 truck motor. I got the whole 9 yards. AC compressor, alternator, PS pump, gas pedal, TACS module, complete pull out (for $1000.00 hoping that is a good deal). I was tearing the motor down and noticed that the plastic piece on the passenger side of the throttle body, where the wire connector is, is cracked. I am not sure if this will effect immediate performance but common sense tells me as soon as moisture gets inside it could possibly short something out and I do not want to chance that. If I buy a used throttle body will it still work with the existing pedal and TACS module that I have? I would like to go DBW if I am able to.
