I agree. Not sure why he notched 'em like that. kinda ruins all the extra work to cut, port and weld. Other than the notch they're basically like mine.

I wondered about the notch as well. Thought it might be for valve cover clearance, but not likely.

Someone bid 'the stupid money' and got stuck with the item. That kinda thing goes both ways. Sometimes you lose the bid and stick some fool with overpaying, other times you shoot yourself in the foot.

Isn't AS&M still in business?

I'm guessing that notch has to be for wire harness or valvecover clearance. Would be an easy fix..

Do you think this actually helped? I mean the bottom still ends up with the 1,75" single tubes. Will the flow actually increase?
I see a perfectly good set of expensive runners that got hacked up and sold for less. I hope they flow better!
