I test drove a 5.9 RT before I bought my vert... It wasnt too bad, but I couldnt really get on it cause the sales man was with me. Yeah, its only got 250 horses, but its more than any of our cars ever had stock! (not including TTA & Firehawk)

And with a good exhaust system, those things sound bad azz!

 

I didn't realize that was on the road, I just thought it was in your driveway, didn't notice the driver either. Nice pic though.

yeah it may only have 250HP stock, but it didnt have too much of a problem keeping up with JRs IROC (i agree tho 250HP is low[see below]), but it has 3.90 gears which compensate quite well. not as quite as fast as JRs IROC, but pretty close and i wouldnt start ragging on it either...

5.9 is a 360ci, but i definitely agree they should have beefed up the HP a bit....It sure has a problem keeping up with the Lightenings but give dodge another year and everyone is going to have some serious issues with the Dodge Ram SRT-10

nah i think theyre both on,its just the one is dim cause its outta aim.

 

Both fog lights are on... one is not aimed as good as the other though.

yeah they both are on but, why aren't the parking lights on. My iroc did that once where the fog lights were on but the parking lights weren't hasn't done it since though. And by the way nice pic.

By '89, Camaro L98s were rated at 245hp. Close enough in my book.

 

There is a Yellow 5.9 RT running around here with 475hp and 700+tq at the wheels. Built and Supercharged. Thing is bad.
I'll see if I can grab some pics of it next time I see it.

Yea they had 240hp... and some IROC's/Z28's/GTA's had 245hp... but once again, we find ourselves in a situation where hp does not tell the whole story. I think if you look, you'll find that the L98 puts out 245hp/345ft. lbs. tq and the RT is something more like 240hp/300tq. That is a big difference!
