I heard that the B4C was the police patrol camaro. I have never seen one. What is so special about them. How many were made. What kinda special options did they have. Post a pic of ur B4C camaro. Or if u find any pics post them.

They were basically a Z28 with RS badging...you got the 305 TPI w/5 spd combo (230hp) or the 350 TPI w/ auto combo (245hp), 1LE brakes, air conditioning, and oil cooler.

Only problem with them is that IF you find one, it probably has way over 100,000 miles on it.

 

There is a black 92 350 one for sale on kyfbodies.org right now. for like 3500.

 

I was talking to a guy that wants one of the B4C camaros and he was saying that it was the best thirdgen ever made. He said that it would do 150mph in the 1/4 mile stock. That means that the car would have run around 9.4 seconds. I dont think so. I told him that the 1LE irocs were the best thirdgens ever made.

Really, How fast are the B4C cars. Are they better then the 1LE camaros. I dont think they are but I am not sure. How fast do the B4Cs do the 1/4 mile in.

I am not sure if all B4Cs came with the 1LE option or not. I think some just had the G92 option. Then again I dont have one either.

 

Actually the TTA is the best 3rd Gen ever made. Not sure how many Firehawks were made, but I think 25, so that doesn't really count.

150MPH 1/4 Mile trap speed... nuh uh!! You need something like 500horse at a 3rd gens wheels for that.

The B4C does't sound that special, the 1LE brakes would be a nice feature, thats about it. it'd be nice if they hopped the engine for the B4C package

Actually, the B4C's were pretty badass. in 92, they came with the L98, complete with siamesed runers, tubular headers, and 270 bhp. Cops. Always getting the cool ****, huh? There's one for sale where I live, only 4995 cash, 65K miles............hmmmm <drools>

 

I am not sure that is correct. I have never heard of a thirdgen getting runners and headers off the line. Basically a B4C is just a Z28 is RS clothing.

You are right!! Where I live we have 2 z28 copos with 383s and they got them that way because they are special ordered. Its just like how if you order a 4th gen T/A WS6.........Once the car is made its shipped to SLP to add the finishing touches. So that car did NOT come from the factory that way.

 

the B4C also have a transmission cooler and aluminum drive shaft along with the oil cooler and 1le brakes

 

I haven't heard anything about it. Though I'm stuck at home this coming weekend watching kids, cause some of my family is going to Dover for the NASCAR race. I'll be lucky if I can go to the track to watch this Friday nite.
