To keep up with Mark.

Left side of the deck is Zaino and the right side is Duragloss. Both are great products and very easy to apply and remove.

BTW, great color!

Get the mothers clay bar, comes with polish as the lubricant.
First wash the car with dawn, to strip off old wax. Then spray the polish on a small section, surface must be wet and gently rub the clay bar back and forth. You'll hear the contaminants coming off, like a gritty sound. When there is no more sound move to the next section.

I'm glad the color was a hit

As far as the detailing products I think I'm going to use Dry Wash and Guard. I used to use it on my Vette and it was the best it ever looked.

Thanks again for the input...

Oooooh very nice! Love the color!

Are you going to put the IROC decals back on? One other thing, there is a waiting period before you can wash and wax your car.It has to do with the paint's curing/adhering period, otherwise the paint will rub off on the sponge/towel when you wash and wax.I think that the wait is 90 days.

VERY IMPRESSIVE Markthe5.7L, in case anyone does'nt know it already, a killer paint job is when it reflects true colors just like a mirror. There's no way that's original paint...right?

I'm leaving the stickers off..... I like the low key sleeper look

There are no hints of a 5.7 under the hoodm it just basically looks like a painted RS 305 TBI car now

As far as waxing..... the place that painted it uses a very expensive heated spraybooth that bakes the paint on in each step so that its cured by the time the customer brings it home.

Has anyone else tried Dry Was N Guard?

Its the stock blue, but with a few different pearl tints added to it. It has mostly blue pearl but theres just a hint of purple to make it look dark at night. I am not sharing the paint recipe with ANYONE :nono:

I like it. I had a special red for my car, almost orange actually. But its not a factory color. I use Enhancer wax after I buff out my car, good stuff, its nice to have dealer products availible.
