Cool as shizit! Definately one of the most professional looking swaps I have seen. I'd be hard pressed to tell that the engine wasn't supposed to be there to begin with. Shweet.

to answer a few of your questions: thanks for all the compliments, yes, i did put the stripes on there myself, it is the eibach pro-kit, and the color of the car is dark-green-grey metallic, its a rare color, at first i wasnt sure if i liked it or not, but since then it has grown on me, i really like it alot now. Coming soon will be the 91-92 power blisters, and a set of IROC wheels, i havent seen any 92's with IROC's on them, do u think any one of you guys might be able to photoshop a set on my car ?

Very nice sleeper man! One suggestion though is take the plate out of your windshield. You can get a ticket for it there anyway ("improper display") so if you're gonna get a ticket for no front plate, might as well look as good as possible doin it.

Also, do you have an emblem on your front fender or is that just a reflection? If you have an emblem, whats it say?

all the cops around me know my car, unfortunately, but i have been pulled over so many times for dumb reasons that they all told me as long as i had it in my front window, they wouldnt bother me anymore. Your right though, i wish i didnt have to have it in there at all, and i should have taken it out for the pics. The emblem on the side of my car is identical to the one on my strut tower brace, i had them custom made, it's the chevy symbol with the 5.7, i thought it was a tastefull way to just let people know its not your average 305 RS

That rides awesome, but I am replying to the people who say its a sleeper. What the ****? If some guy with a third gen pulls up next to you and it has big old ****ing racing stripes, your not thinking this is your average RS. You're thinking im gonna get my *** kicked.

This response has nothing to do with JC's car, its awesome, but is this guy telling us that racing stripes scare him. If so, I'm gonna go get some for my wife's mercury villager (minivan) and go kick some ***.

If you don't see the 5.7 Badge on the fender, you might think its just an ordinary RS. Unless its really loud..

Wow, thats looks really good, thanks for photoshopping that for me man. I would love a set of ZR1's or ROH's, unfortunately i just dont have the money right now I am currently in the process of trying to buy a set of IROCS for a decent price, but in the future what i really wanna put on the car is either the Trans AM WS6 wheels, or better yet a set of 17" corvette C5 wheels. Also i know you guys all like the 1/4 mile numbers, so here they are, not too bad for all stock i guess. Last summer, right after the instal, and bone stock it ran 15.51 @ 92mph, i havent ran it since all the mods have been added, im hoping for mid to lower 14's. Also this summer this 350 is going on the bottle, it will be running a NOS 100 shot

What crate motor is that? I was expecting much better times from your car than that. Judging from your mph I would guess you spun off the line for a bit. I honestly thought you would be in the high thirteens easy, though I'm sure the TBI doesn't help matters much. Is that not a Z block?? Still a great looking swap though.

I wish my car ran high 13's, its just a stock L98 short block, all induction, heads, and cam were from stock 350 TBI engine. My estimate is that is probably had somewhere around 220 or so hp. As for the spin off the line, yes i had a ton of tire spin, due mostly because of the weak 215/60/15's on the car, and no posi. But this season is a different story, i will have a set of wider tires, and an SLP posi unit installed. However, remember those times are when the car was stock, none of the mods in my signiture were installed on the car, not even the exhaust. I have yet to get to the track this season to see how my mods have payed off. Im hoping to get there withing the next few weeks, as soon as i know what she runs now, i will be sure to post my new times

Wow! That is one sweet RS! I hope mine will look that good someday!

BTW, which Holley TB are you using? Jegs lists several of them, but none of them are stock replacement for 305 TBI. Did you have to do any modifications to it?

thanks for the compliments RS freak, its the Holley 670 TBI unit, it is a couple years old, im not really sure about the new ones. I did have to do a couple small mods to the unit to make it work, like cutting and splicing in the Holley harness to my injector harness, and getting a 2" carb to TBI adaptor plate from PAW. Other than that though, it bolted right up, one of the best mods i could have done, however, i'm not sure if its worth the $300 Jegs wants for it, i bought mine barely used from a guy one here for $100 so it was a great deal.

its actually not blue at all, well it's not called blue anyway, the paint color is Dark Green Grey Metallic, its one of those new colors that they used for the 25th Anniversary year, and its pretty rare. However i agree with you, i dont see the green much at all, it always seems to look more blue to me, i will say that the color seems to change a bit though, depending on the light the car is in, i think its one of my favorite colors now, just because its a bit different, thanks for the compliments guys
