Heh, at least this place doesn't kick me out of here for talking about thinks that I want to talk about like my Job here at work just did. Corporate A-holes !!

Anyway since these come on Trans Ams is it right to put it on a Firebird. It look good and all and so does my stock hood so I need some more opinions.

I love mine

I have a ram air hood for my car and I love the new look it gave me. My boyfriend also has a new style ram air hood on his TA and it has given it a more aggressive look.So I say if you can afford it go for it. You shouldn't be disappointed

I think you should do it.

I have seen camaro guys take IROC hoods and stick them on their Sport Coupes....I think that it would be fine.

It's your car do whatever YOU think looks good.

Hey Scott,

Where did you get your Ram Air Hood? I am wanting one for my 84 S/E. I don't want the big fat 98 and up I want the subtle 97 style.

Are you pleased with the construction of it? How much did it cost with shipping? Has it held up the test of time?

Thanks, billsfirebird

IMO, the ram air II style hood looks alot better on our cars than the original style ram air hoods like on pre '98 birds.

Can I quote you?
I don't know about that. I like the ASCD RamAir the best of them all. But that is my opinion too. I think the RA II hoods actually take away from the actual bodystyle of the car.

Jim,,
I, like many other people have the ASCD TA500 ram air (1) It is excellent quality, and I am very happy with it,,there prices vary from time to time so I would call them if you are interested,,I got mine cheaper than they had it advertized at the time,,and I don't know what they charge for shipping because they make them about an hour from where I live so I picked mine up to save the shipping cost.
It has held up good so far,,I have had it for aprox. 2 years with no problems.
Cost is about $400.00 befor shipping.
