Got my new Carepet installed PICs!
I ordered my new red carpet from classic industries last week and it finally came on Weds. i spent about 4hrs taking my car apart and putting it in. My car is almost back together except for the plastic seat mount covers, and my AMP wire. I am really impressed with the quality of the carpet i recieved. here is a picture of my pride and joy.

WOW! Is that "Flame red"?
I have red in my car stock now too, i love the way yours looks though, it's so damn bright! Beautiful!
How about the door panels? They looked new too. Were they included in the carpet kit?

I'm waiting for my carpet from 1 A Auto. What has to be done, I know you have to take everthing out, but you managed to do it in 4 hours... I figured it would be a couple days work... At the same time I'm going to put 4th Gen seats in to make the interior perfect.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I paid about $139 or so for the carpet and then i put jute padding under it too. The color of the carpet is Dark carmine red. It matches my interior perfectly. I really didn't like red at first, but it grew on me, so i figured hell why not.
I just got done detailing my car so that's why the doorpanels look good. I spend countless hours per week sitting in my car cleaning and straighting it. I haven't even driven 500mi on my new motor yet either. I drive my blazer. Do any of you guys have suggestions for floormats? I was thinking of going to the dealer and getting some red fourth-gen mats. I want my mats to exactly match my floor pan. None of those fit-alls mats.
DiecastZ28. I did forget to mention that i didn't have the console in the car already, i just had to put it in.
here is a little bit bigger picture.

What's that guage where the TACH normaly sits in the dash? That a huge fuel level guage or something? Staring at it trying to figure it out.
Cool idea on the mounted tach on the "T" between the T tops.
I just ordered a classic Ind catalog myself, that doesn't seem like a bad price at all for new carpet, and it looks much much better then i thought it would.
Thanks for the post! get those pictures at night too. : D

hehe, Christos those are the gauges out of my old v6 86 SC. good ole 85mph and huge gas gauge. I was originally going to part this car out, so i used the 145/tach cluster in my other car. I put this dash in so i'd have a speedo (I'm on a driving suspension for a year) I dedicded i liked the big gas gauge so i kept it. I'm just going to swap a 145mph speedo back in though.
dwish, i don't have the carpet or interior anymore. I already sold it. sorry.
