Need opinions (and flames)

I have a 91 GTA..I plan on getting it painted black, eventually..
Here's my prob..
I don't wanna spend the time-money to hunt down some black emblems, so I was thinking..
How do you guys think a black T-A will look with red emblems and scripting, like..ram-air in red on the hood? I'd whip up a photoshop to physically show you, but..I blow with it =P

Just for the sake of legitimacy..

And if that doesn't work..

Sauron, it's all about what you like, but you did ask for opinions. I wouldn't do it if I were you, I think it would look too busy ( ie. tacky, cheesy etc...). again, opinions are like *******s, everyones got one.

What are you fricking
CRAZY??

That would look bad ***. Since my car is already red I would Go with black emblems. I would rather have a Black ride with red emblems and decals. But the I would have to change my name on this forum..... And spend a hell of alot on paint! Tell you what when I find a spare 2 Grand laying around I'll steall your idea.

I'm gonna be getting a raim air 2 hood with the pre 91 wrap around spoiler..I was thinking the red highlights would look good, since some of the rest is red..for example the PONTIAC on the brake light assembly..
I'm also going to copy Zepher with his Camaro GFX if I can find some more pics of his 'Bird

I think it would look sweet. Red always looks good on black.

I think it would look all right.

There's a chick around here who drives a 4thgen (v6) that's black with red badges and a red pinstripe. Looks pretty good.

I think it would look good. My friend has an 88 IROC with red badges (no stripes or IROC-Z decal though) and I like it. I think it would also look good with the black ones so either way, it'll look nice.

EDIT:

Surprise, surprise

First and foremost, wouldn't you ruin the GTA by taking it's original ground effects off and putting camaro ground effects on? I don't know...hood is one thing...but would it really match up with the 91-92 nose? Your car man. Might turn out all right.

As far as the red/black combo, If I'm not mistaken (could be) didn't the 87 black GTAs come with red emblems?? I was thinking they didn't put the black emblems on until a later year...could be wrong. But as long as you replaced all of the emblems...the 2 sail panels, the 2 emblems behind front wheel wells, and the nose emblem...it'd look great. Go for it! Just don't buy the last emblems from Classic Industrie! I need 2 and my car actually uses that color!

I don't think the 91 GFX line up that much..more like extra wings, and I will probably put them on before I get the car painted just to see how they look..
and if they look like puke, no problem..I'll just toss them..I can get a full set of Camaro GFX for 20 bucks here, and that's not a big loss if I decide against it after seeing what it looks like prepaint
