I was thinking of a 97 style ram air hood and a 91-92 style rear wing for my bird and I wanted to paint it a dark blue.....guess that is what my S/E would look like if I went with it.....
YOUR CAR IS AWSOME!
here is the S/E I was refering too.

Thank's for the compliment! My car is an S/E also. I'm glad I went the 97 style hood and the 91-92 rear wing. I just recently added 91-92 GTA taillights also. It's funny I get alot of people asking what year my car is. I'd say go for it and get the hood and rear wing you won't regret it .
Here's a pic of what the car use to look like.

Is the domed hood original to the car? The picture shows the car to be in excellent shape any reason for repainting it? Do you still have that hood?
I don't think think the domed hood is original to the car. The Bird had three owners before me. The original owner, then my brother-in-law in 1988, then my mom in 1989, then me in 1994. I know the car was in an accident by the first owner. They must have gotten a used hood off a T/A. Cause when I took the hood insulation off there was white paint under it.
After my mom got the car She had it repainted cause where the original paint still remained on the car it started to peel. I got the car cause the lobes on the camshaft were worn and my mom didn't feel like putting the money in it. You can see the back of her 93 Formula (to replace the 84)in one of the pics. I was happy to get it cause it had a newer paint job and transmission.
I had for about four years then I lost my indoor storage. I had it outside over my sisters house during the winter. When spring came around I noticed some of the clearcoat started to lift. I didn't think much of it cause it was a very small spot. Then I brought the car to the car wash and as soon as I hit the spot with the lifting clearcoat that was the end of the paint. That's basically the story of my car.
Sorry, I got rid of the hood after I had it painted.

I cant find my picture disk, but the picture is crappy anyways, as it was taken normally then scanned, and besides you cant see my custom sailbirds as they werent on it at that time. But my car is black with two silver stripes and a 2 5/8" cowl hood. I will post pics as soon as I get them up. I still have an 84 trans am though. There seems to be a lot of 84's around. Pics soon, I promise.
they came on my car when i got it. im gonna get some american tourqe thrust 2's for my ride eventuly. i like these rims cause they keep the mucsle car look. im not a big fan of all the newer style rims like the zo6 rims and all that.its a old car, i like the older vintage looking rims...

sammycalderon, I'm thinking about putting a 91-92 nose I'm still not sure. I still kinda like the 82 -84 noses. There's a junkyard by my house that has a 91-92 firebird the nose is shot but I know the headlight assemblies are in good shape. I think I'd need those to convert it over. I am tempted to pick those up.
I don't have any new picks of the tail of the car. I'll try and get some soon though.
