That is an awesome tutorial you have! I need to rebuild my front end soon, and this page will help me.
Thanks

Yeah, she handles better than a new car. The steering is super tight and the suspension is just stiff enough to know where you are going but yet soft enough to where you can drive it long distances and around town. The Pro-Kits are a progressive rate spring so if you where to take a corner quickly then they stiffen to help you stick, just regular driving though, the are perfect. I would be willing to put up against a stock vette on the skid pad. It may not win but it would be very close. Everyone that I have let drive it absolutely love it.

I live in the north austin/round rock area. Me and my friends meet up at the car show @ I-35 and 79 opposite the Gattiland parking lot in front of the Hunan Lion resturant on saturday nights. If you want to, shoot me an email and I can tell you how to get there.

Does the steering wheel feel more communicative after the work chevyguy? I always thought the wheel on my IROC has a slightly strange lifeless feel to it.

Yeah ZZ4, you are right. I think over time I got used to the steering wheel being kinda hard to turn and now with everything new it does not take as much power to turn it but the car does responds instantly to the slightest bit of movement.

Chevyguy... I did this on my 91 vert about a month ago front and rear so I know how you feel, I also did a rear swap (put a rear out of a '99 Z in my car) Energy Suspension bushings and KYB GR-2 Shocks and struts also. Fun job wasn't it!! I thought about taking pictures but was too "into" the job to remember, and I had wrenches flying myself!! Good pictures!

You had wrench's flying at you? Your car must not have liked you. Mine does not like me at times either. It seems you lean down and slap me in the head with its various suspension parts. How do you like the results of your work?

So far I like it... I am slowly rebuilding it up from the ground up while i drive it. next is sfc's and rims then onto motor and interior. It handles sweet and the rear is nice... corners like a dream! gotta look into a rollover bar though... don't want to push it to hard being its a vert, but its nice! didn't get the aftermarket panhard bar and lca's like you but maybe someday.

Yours looks good too... I am going to do the engine as one of the last things, that and paint. Thought long and hard about whether or not I wanted to go through the hastle of an lt1 or not so I chose to go with a 350 TPI. Hoping to have her mostly done by next summer (fingers crossed) so I can start doing some shows.
