I saw a 4th gen in the bone yard with a similar impact. The rocker panel was smashed all the way into the center console. The axle tube broke off of the pumpkin. You can imagine the rest of the stuff that was thrashed.
Hey hope you get back up on your feet soon. In the mean time get lots of rest and try to not go crazy watching day time TV

Dude you are @#@! lucky to be alive! But look the third gen did not collapse too badly, the rear hatch is not even cracked and the hood is not even bent! However if you had been driving a t-top car you'd be gone.

Crash pictures make me so sad. Kinda like that kid in the picture.
It sux cuz you can tell how well the car was taken care of. And to think that could happen to any of us, at any time. I can't really say your lucky because of the crash, but looks like your lucky to be here.

Glad to see that you are alive. What are the long term affects? Will you need a cane at 40? And yes my first thought was the rims were not touched, but out of respect I was going to wait a little bit before asking if you are going to sell. The right side looks like it would be untouched as well. Are you going to get another third gen? Good luck with the recovery.

Good lord man, you're a very lucky guy. After-effects, surgery etc... whatever, you're still extremely lucky.
An unusual open-wheel concept though.

Well im definitly gonna get another 3rd gen i realy want 87-89 iroc or 91-92 z28 305 or 350 tpi dont realy care, just gonna take a few months to get the money for it, the effects were i had surgery on my pelvis , it broke in 2 spots and the head of my leg bone cracked too so i got 5 screws in me now. Im thinking 6 months for a good recovery.
