Sweet, i'm diggin the new hood
Was the old way just temporary? I thought it looked kinda strange. Spray some armorall up in your wheel wells, it's not quite black enough hehehe. When do you plan on getting the hood painted?

I don't know what is runs in the 1/4, the closest one to me is like 200 miles away.
logikal
Its not an aftermarket fuel level gauge, its the stock on in there right now. I have a 2 1/16 Ultra lite to put in its place, but have not had a chance to put it in yet. We put the same gauge in my buddys 79 Z and it is pretty accurate.

Yeah the old way was just a temorary even though it stayed like that a year. I kept waiting and waiting for GTauto to get the Jongblood hood done, but it never happened. I got tired of waiting and bought the SS hood. Right now I'm trying to decied whether to just get the hood painted or go ahead and get the whole car painted. As for the wheel wells, the dust is terrible here, you can get them all nice and clean and drive it and they look like sh it again.

Very nice car, looks a lot like RSpeeds (thats a compliment!
)
Only thing I don't like, and this is purely my own personal opinion in no way meant to bash on your car, is the big red bowtie in the engine compartment.

Its cool that you don't like the big red bowtie. It's not painted on,its made out of a peice of plexie with the edges painted. It's gonna be a place for my kill stickers that I'm having made.

WOW That is one of thee best lookin cars on here. I love the seats, how much did those run you? I like the bowtie touch in the engine bay, looks sweet. The motor is killer.
Only thing I don't care for too much is the front blackouts but still looks good. Love the hood, wish I could afford one.
Oh, did I tell you, you have an awesome car.

Thanks Mark
I got the seat in GP the that was run over here a while back. I got both seat and mounting brakets shipped to my door for $810. The blackouts look good, but I hate the way they fit. I'm thinking of making my own that will fit flush like the ones I made for the parking lights. Oh and did I tell you thanks...

The brakes are 13 inch Baer Track system

NICE CAR! Your car and RSpeed's are the ones that convinced me to get ROH Snypers. Love the Brakes guys! Thats on my list. How much where the brakes total and how much of a pain to install? I know they are expensive
ROH Snypers and Thirdgen Camaro's....
They are like peanut butter and jelly.. Just meant to be!!

Damn you RSpeed
Your brakes are exactly the same as my old setup before I got the new Baer's. Same rotors and same color painted cailpers.
I'll have to find some old pics. I think we even have the same freaken tire.
Bill
I'll glad you went with the Snypers, I saw your post and they look excellent on your car. The brakes cost me $1265 shipped to my door, but then you send your old spindles back and they give ya $150 for them. As for the install, it was painless. Everything you need to bolt the brakes on is included in the kit and its strait forward and easy to do. As soon as I get my 12 bolt in I'm gonna put the Baers on the back to.

Thanks man, you gotta pretty sweet ride yourself.

It was $1115 after you send the old spindles in for the core charge. The base kit for our cars is like $995, but after you add having the rotors cross drilled, slotted and zinc washed it run the cost up a little. Heres what ya get in the kit. Rotors, pads, calipers, modified spindles with caliper brakets, wheel bearing, stainless brake lines and new cotter pins to put everything back toghter with. They are expensive I want argue they but they look good and perform better than they look.

Hey Superman, how do you like your Corbeau seats? Are the comfortable on long trips? The look awesome in your car! If I ever decide to turn my IROC more into a race car I may want to get some.

I love the Corbeaus, they fit ya like a glove and are very comfy. I also tried out a set of Sparcos before I got the Corbeaus and they were equally as nice. Both great seats with lots of support in them.

superman,
Do you by any means have any old pics of your motor with the hitman installed? I just need an idea where to mount my soleniods and I know this is dumb but how many fuel pressure regulators did you have?

You have to be creative when mounting the noids, there is no set way they have to be mounted. You either need to by the mounts from NX that bolts to the bottom of the noid then you bend it to fit where you want,or make your own mount. My nitrous is setup on a dedicated fuel system,it has its own fuel cell, pump, and regulator. I only have a pic of the new engine, don't know how much help it will be to ya but here it is anyway.
