newbie here

Im from chile and i cam to the us a year ago and i bought this camaro like 6 month ago just cuz i liked it how it looked and i didnt know anything so i bought a 1991 z28 305ci 5.0L 204hp i guess
its a really nice car but im running high 15`s and i would really like to make it faster!
the good thing is that in chile my dad has the representation of spitfire so i get everything for the tune ups free such as spark plugs and 8mm cables etc..
well my car is all stock and its auto so i was wondering if u guys could hook me up with some ideas of what to do now !
i want to go step by step to make it fast but slowly cuz i dont have a lot of money cuz im 17 and i depend on my dad
please list the upgrades that you would do to my car if u were in my place
i have like 300 dollars to start i was thinking on sfcs cuz i have t-tops
but can i put new hooker catback after putting sfcs?
please list a complete list of upgrades for example from tune-up to
supercharger,chips etc..
everything will be really helpfull
here is a pic of my baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for all

I'd get headers first.

Nice car, I see you're from MD. Check out the mid atl board for my post, we're having another 3rd Gen meet on the 24th. See sig pic for oour first meet, should be a lot more next time.

Welcome

I'd start with a cat-back exhaust, and assuming its TPI, port the plenum. After that maybe dig deeper into the exhaust area and get some headers and a y-pipe. If you have the standard auto gears (2.73s) upgrading to something like 3.42s w/ a posi would also help a lot. Just my opinion though.

Glad to have you aboard

The meeting is in So. MD, in Calvert Co.

To see how far it is for you type this into mapquest.com
150 Solomons Island Rd
Prince Frederick MD 20678

This is Wal-Marts address so knock off like 2 miles. It's in a Food Lion Shopping center. There is usually a huge car show with several hundred cars tehre, but the weather canceled it that day.

Oh, and I don't know a whole lot about cars. But reading these boards has helped a lot.

Cridom, welcome to the boards. Great car to start out with, got to love the 91-92 z28's. I would look into headers and cat-back (y-pipe)first. But.....in your case it might be best to get your SFC's first just to make sure your exhaust will work around them. I don't know if you could do headers/y-pipe/cat-back for $300?
