i wouldnt do anything to it....if you must, then get some rims. i think a nice catback (hooker) with some nice tips (hooker) will make your car look good.

For now im gonna stick with the 305 TPI. When I get the money I am gonna get a 383 TPI stroker built.
But in the mean time im gonna try and get the 305 into the low to mid 14s

Don't do anything. That's a beautiful car. Yeah, polish the rims and if you just HAVE to to something then I think a cowl or big block hood would look really mean. Otherwise, leave it alone man.

Car: too many ...
I would do:

1 inch drop
clear side markers
darker tint (hopefully not illegal where u live?)
all red taillight mod (change the yellow to red)
get rid of the red pinstripes and accents (emblems)
convert to the black emblems and black IROC-Z sticker on the side
black racing stripes on a grey car look very aggressive
then finish up the boltons (headers and exhaust), do a shift kit, and maybe get a stall converter

do all the pretty stuff crazy said but don't spend any money on go-fast until you get that 383 so you don't acc. waste money on parts that won't swap over. very nice car though

I say drop it a couple inches, polish the wheels if you must, and add the 91/92 style hood blisters. Other than that, that is a beutiful iroc and you certainly don't see many in that color so I'd keep the appearence mods to a minimum. Oh and whatever you do, leave the red stripes. I think they look great.

KEEP YOUR HOOD!!! sorry i hate when people get a big hood like the big block hood or something like that. then you pop the hood and notice a little 305 under it. if you get a big block hood, make sure you fill the gap!! either with a blower or a big block!!! hey what a concept! i wouldnt even lower it, just polish your rims, and your good to go. i like the car as it looks in the pics, its a very nice/clean car!

Thanks guys
I think that my car looks good as is too.

The mods that I was thinking of doing are:
Polishing the rims (Im gonna do over winter)
Some new paint in areas
I want to lower it 1 inch maybe
I want a SS style hood
Maybe the 1989 style side moldings

Im going to be getting a Hooker Catback soon so then I will have tips.

Thanks for all the replys.

I'd never think of doing something like that, how ridiculous! my SS hood has a 3.1L V6 under it

I say keep it stock looking, and keep it ultra clean, you don't see many good looking IROCs (that aren't modded beyond belief) around any more....

but if you absolutely must do some appearance mods, I say keep it subtle with stuff that looks like it came from the factory (chrome IROC rims, etc...)

don't hurt it, it would be cruelty to automobiles if you mod the snot out of it! looks awesome the way it is, don't lose anything thats on it, you are lucky, you have a good lookin car, focus on that 383 you mentioned.
